Kovarska A small village of about 500 people about two hours from Prague by car.  Kovarska was the scene of a major air battle between a USA bomber group and the German Luftwaffe.  Excerpts from Return to Joigny.  We also revisited this this little village for the 60th anniversary of the battle in "WWII Reunion".
